Located in the Rotermann Quarter, the timeless and prestigious beauty salon Savannah has a rich history and its second-floor rooms offer a fantastic view of Rotermann Square. As a reliable printing partner, they regularly order a wide range of printing materials from us. These include chocolate candies with a logo, history cards of previous work, note sheets and business cards.
In the past, Savannah faced a problem where the screen-printed logos on hairdressing capes wore off over time (constant exposure to chemicals and frequent washing). We came up with an ingenious solution by cutting the logo out of white vinyl and pressing it onto the capes we already had with heat. This approach ensured that in the future there would be no need to deal with paint that would wear off. This is one of those rare cases where heat press film turned out to be a sustainable solution.
The salon’s focus is on providing its customers with an unforgettable experience. For example, customers are treated to coffee accompanied by dark chocolates decorated with the salon’s logo. The main colors of the salon are black and gold, combined with white, creating an elegant and luxurious style.
We printed a logo on their chocolate with the website address. The chocolate squares are surrounded by a black paper wrapper with gold lettering. Printing with gold can be achieved with a special gold ink, but a more cost-effective solution involves imitating gold using a combination of four CMYK colours, which gives an impressive result. We made three gold print files (with different color codes), made test prints of the chocolates and chose the closest match to the desired golden tone in cooperation with their representative.
It is worth noting that many print shops do not want to do test prints, especially for free, but we think it is important to ensure customer satisfaction and the desired result.
