Kätlin Kaljuvee’s Illustrations for a Music School

The walls of a music school don’t have to be dull – they can be as lively as the children who learn there. In collaboration with artist Kätlin Kaljuvee, a project was born with the goal of bringing more joy, color, and inspiration into the school environment.

The initial idea of involving students in drawing quickly grew into something bigger. Since Kätlin’s own child studies at the same school, she took the project to heart and created a cohesive world of illustrations. The walls came alive with characterful animals – bears, rabbits, cats, and sheep – playing instruments among floating sheets of music. The result is a playful and vibrant environment that engages children every day.

We at KIND were responsible for the technical execution of the illustrations. We created contour cuts based on the artist’s work, printed them on durable and washable materials, and carefully installed them on the school walls. Special attention was given to the durability of the stickers – strong adhesive and abrasion-resistant materials ensure that the illustrations withstand even an active school environment.

The result speaks for itself. Children interact with the characters, play, make animal sounds, and look forward to their classes in a more cheerful mood. One visual solution transformed the entire atmosphere of the space – making it warmer, more creative, and more alive.
