Music Estonia’s natural fair fabrics

Music Estonia was visiting the biggest world music showcase festival WOMEX, where Puuluup performed from Estonia. 2023. WOMEX took place in Spain in 2000 and the event was attended by nearly 3000 visitors from more than 90 countries. It is one of the most important meeting places for folk and world music professionals.

Previously, Music Estonia used light plywood exhibition walls on trips, which were covered with designs printed on the flag fabric. We sensed a mismatch between the materials and replaced the polyester fabrics with 100% cotton fabrics. We printed the artistic advertisements in 7 water-based colours to keep the tones, transitions and shadows detailed and natural. One of the bonuses of the latex printing technique is the scratch resistance of the paints, which is a great help in the regular transport and installation of trade fair materials.
