When someone sees your logo on a T-shirt or sweatshirt, they may not immediately understand what you do or why they should remember your company. This is where a good slogan comes to the rescue. A slogan does not have to explain everything. It is enough if it gives a small hint, makes you think for a moment or raises a question. This is where the conversation can begin.
But how do you find a slogan that actually works?

Say more than the company name

A good slogan complements the company’s name. It can give you an idea of what you do, your values, or just what you are. Often, one well-chosen idea is enough to make the name more memorable.

Think about what is important to the customer

Before you start putting words in a row, think about why people turn to you.
What makes their lives easier?
What problem are you solving?
Or why do they like to work with you?
The best slogans are often born from this one idea.

Don’t try to say everything

A good slogan is not an introduction to a company. They can take shape, reach people and develop into something more.
It is this kind of message that creates an opportunity for conversation and gives the person a reason to learn more.

Write like your company says

The slogan does not have to be overly serious or overly witty. It is important that it sounds natural. If your company is friendly and direct, it could also be a slogan.
A good slogan doesn’t have to say everything.
